I am honored to be selected for the inaugural class of Leveraging Local Leaders, or L3. This is a bi-partisan effort to help train local leaders from various backgrounds on challenges facing our region. The class includes great leaders from Loveland, Greeley and Fort Collins. We will be discussing important issues such as affordable housing, economic growth, water and sustainability. Former Loveland Council Member Leah Johnson said, ““We are all going to have to do better to see that while we might not always agree, there is a space where we can find common ground and good solutions for our communities.”I couldn’t agree more Leah, which is why I am so pleased to have been selected for this group.
Our first class was dedicated to Water and included presentations form Jeff Stahla at Northern Water, Sean Chambers with the City of Greeley and David Crowder, VP of Community Development at McWhinney. If you’re interested in L3 check out the press announcement about the inaugural class here.
